Keep asking for upper management until you get a satisfactory answer. Remember, don't get combative. Try working WITH your company as much as possible. You have to PROVE you had the items you say were stolen. Anyone and everyone knows that you keep seperate records of your personal belongings outside of your home in the event something like this happens. If you're expecting to be compensated for the items, don't you think you should be able to prove you owned them?
