This question is for California residents, How much fees does the DMV charge for removing lienholder and get the title in your name? For example, when the bank has given you "Lien satisfied" document after you've paid off the loan. Does DMV do this immediately (walk-in) and give you the title immediately?

Last time I did it they charged me a $10 title replacement fee the new one came with out the lien holder on it.
