Driving licence?

Question:
can anyone tell me, is the D740 form of the driving licence the proper driving licence? My son is unsure as to whether it is the provisional or the actual one (counterpart)he produces with his photo licence

Answers:

Can Avis provide me with franchise information?

The D740 is certainly the counterpart to a photo licence, I don't know if the also use this on the provisional licence. It says at the top of mine "Counterpart Driving Licence"

Valid car stuff?

If you are asked to produce your licence and you hold a photo licence then both the card and the counterpart are required to be produced

Maryland Duplicate car title question?!!?

The D740 is the counterpart to his plastic photo-card licence, together they form the licence he needs to produce if required. Strange system, but there you are!

If I buy a car and plan to restore, is car insurance usually alot cheaper? Can I still drive it occasionally?

Hope that helps.

Where can I find a Chrome "Maine" License plate?

A driving licence is a photocard and the D740 - if asked to produce his licence then both must be shown.
