I got my car repoed what happens now???!!?
First off, buying insurance now and then filing a claim for a past accident is insurance fraud and you could be prosecuted. Be honest with the woman that you hit. Let her know that your insurance has lapsed and that you need to pay for the repairs out of pocket. Figure out a timely payment schedule or got to a payday advance company. She will probably work with you because it will take awhile for her to take you to court and she would have to pay for court fees upfront. Make all of your payments on time. If she does end up taking you to court you will be responsible for damages, court costs, and you will probably be ticketed for operating a vehicle without insurance. How do i get a title for an abondoned car that has a lien?
what ever insurance you take out, will refelect the date you started the policy. you shuld have had insurance, before getting behind the wheel.I want to buy a car registration, how do I find the current owner?
na, no big deal, try to take care of the damage as soon as you can, this happens every couple of seconds. don't lie anymore, don't make it worse..Good luck,it will all work out...Sorry, you can't buy insurance now to cover this accident. If you did so, it would be fraud. Your best bet is to pay the other woman for her damages. If the estimate seems high, ask her if she'll get two estimates, that way you can compare. I would add that expect the repair bill to be higher than you think.
I was reversing in my car and hit another that was coming in am i really at fault?
Depending on your state, if the damage is over a certain amount (in CA it's 500 I think) you are both legally obligated to report the accident. Now if she gets paid right away she probably won't report it, but if she does report it, you're screwed. The DMV will contact you asking you to fill out a form--I'm not sure if you have to show proof of insurance. Maybe. You don't go to jail for lack of insurance but the fine is easily in the hundreds. It depends again on the state or county you live in.

You have learned a very expensive lesson for your stupidity.. you owe her the complete cost of repairs PLUS rental and any medical expenses- no way to get around it.

If you dont pay her in a timely matter and she goes through her insurance.. they will come after you with the bill. If you dont pay them.. they will suspend your license and garnish your wages and you will deal with this for years to come.
You made your bed.. now lay in it.
