I never got a parking ticket before so i dont know what is going on. It says he has my Vin but its a letter and 3 numbers. Arent Vin numbers like 10 digits long?. he also wrote an expiration date, of what? If the police got that vin number from entering a license plate into the system then does that mean that vin is wrong since he wrote my license number wrong?

A parking ticket is not worth ignoring and later getting your car impounded for. I would go to the court house or judge or whatever you need to do and get it taken care of, it's on your car. Try and explain that the numbers were off or whatever was wrong with the ticket. But you do need to admit that you were parked illegally. And I know no one wants to pay it, but..
go to the DMV and ask about vin numbers on the car and ask
about your driving license number and go to the police station.

call your local court house ask if you have any parking tickets if the ticket isnt written with your plate number then when the ticket got turned in to be put in system they only go by whats on ticket they wont know the wrong plates there so you shouldnt have any ticketsNo tax from a well know car supermarket?
I think police and government agencies "looking out for its citizens" need to stop enforcing such mundane policies such as parking tickets and minor moving violations and pay more attention to DUI's, stolen cars, and investigations for more serious infractions. My car was stolen and all I ever got was "we found your car & impounded it, suspects got away, end of investigation, have a nice day." I guess it pays to be lazy!If he/she messed up your vin & plates don't pay the ticket. I've lost all respect for law enforcement.
