If a driver had a valid va license and lost their license in there previous home state and driving privelidges lost in that state only, leaving valid va license will motor vehicle notify driver they can't drive in Va also? Since person was dui with child in car folks are concerned the driver will continue driving with valid va license. They lost license in home state maine for two years for dui and operating after suspension. If the folks report this to Va due to their concern for driver and child will Va do anything or not to notify driver? Driver feels they can continue driving due to haveing valid va license. As long as the license is valid, the driver may operate a vehicle, though it is illegal to have a license from 2 different states. When the driver tries to renew their license they will not be able to as states are now sharing information. If they obtained their license in the new state after the suspension was lifted, there will be no problem.
