The other night someone was diving my car and hit a trash dumpster that was in the street. It was late at night on a dark road so he didn't see it, will I still be coverage? I am not gonna tell the insurance company that someone else was driving it.

It doesnt matter if its the drivers fault or not (as obviously this was your friends fault but im sure you now that...) if you have COLLISION coverage- they will pay for your damages. If you have liability only insurance.. then obviously it wont be covered because you cant go after the dumpster for repairs.I'm totally stressing over this DMV permit test...any suggestions?
And please... dont lie. You will get yourself in a HEAP of trouble if you slip up and they find out.. and they may very well deny your claim then. Its OK to have an unlisted driver drive your vehicle every once in awhile.

Lying and cheating have never benefitted anyone. You sound very young and should think about future mistakes. By all means contact your ins. agent, and be upfront about what happened. So far as paying for the damages yourself, this may cost more than any small ins. increase. Perhaps the trash dumpster was in an illegal place? Perhaps your ins. will cover another driver? Don't run and hide before you know the reality, I am not sure, but most repair shops have to keep records and it could surface later on. Accept resonsibility and don't loan your car. You don't have to lie. If the person driving had your permission, he is covered under your policy. It doesn't matter who was driving if you have collision coverage on your policy. That coverage pays for the damages to your vehicle. Be honest--your insurance most likely covers drivers other than you who had permission. The only reason I could see hiding is if the other driver didn't have a license or something like that. Plus the other driver's insurance should really cover the accident.
