Emissions test tricks?

Question:
I have a car that will definitely NOT pass emissions, I live in WA where there is only a hand full of counties that require it, I have hear of people using PO boxes from a counties that don’t have emission testing to get around it, has anyone tried this and does it work?

Filling up on Ethenol? E85 will not do so hot for your engine. You should change the oil with 1 Qt. lucas oil stabilizer and 4 of oil. great stuff! it will take care of some blow by - next, you can get the blow by from your pcv out by building a rather odd looking jar.. check this out: http://www.herningg.com/projects/pcv.htm... Not that expensive, and will do nothing for a good engine, but on a bad one, with blow by, it will capture the heavy water and oil and let the burnable gas through (although you have to empty it every so often of some NASTY water/oil/gunk mix it catches) You should make sure your intake is clean, air filter is good.. Why are you so sure it will not pass? What are the symptoms to see what can be fixed? On a side note, some states, like here in UT have a clause that if you spend enough trying to get it to pass in one year, you can file to pass due to spending the money on trying to fix it but still not passing (i think its $350 min) Hope that helps
