our tahoe was totaled by the insurance comp...they towed it from body shop -home...they forgot about it mos later it was stolen and further out of pocket tows impound fees whos responsible ??

What do you mean they forgot about it? If your car was totaled the insurance company would have taken immediate possession of the vehicle for auction and settled your claim...unless you retained salvage, then you would get it back and a smaller settlement & a title stamped salvage.

If your car was stolen, assuming you still had comprehensive coverage on the Tahoe, then it would be covered.
