Question:
I have a valid Indian driving license. Can i drive a car in US Wisconsin state ? Where can i get these information ?
Thanks
Answers:
I live in toronto. is it possible to take auto insurance for only one day in a month.?
No, You have to pass the Driving test (practical and theory) there at US and get a separate license there.YES YOU CAN DRIVE(FOR 6 MONTHS) BUT BEFORE DRIVING GO TO YOUR LOCAL TAX COLLECTORS OFFICE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION BUT I WILL RECOMMEND TO HAVE DRIVING CLASSES BEFORE ACTUALLY DRIVING A CAR.BEC YOU NEED PRACTICE BEFORE GOING TO ROADS.THAT IS WHAT I DID.ITS JUST MATTER OF FEW BUCKS.MONEY IS NOT MORE THAN LIFE.AND IT DEPENDS FROM STATE TO STATE.IN FL ITS LEGAL
How can I recover money that was used to purchase a car from a friend?
Absolutely not this is illegal, don't degrade our Indian communityIs there anyway you can delete points on your licence faster then the time you have to wait???
no dear u cant use our Indian license here, if u have international license in some of the states they will allow u for 3 months not more than that but any how u have to take test here and get the license of U.S.If you are a resident, no. If you are a tourist, yes.
Driving License & Good Grades/?
Driving in Wisconsin with a foreign driver’s license
Foreign motorists from any of the countries who are party to the United Nations Convention on Road Traffic (Geneva, 1949) and the Convention on the Regulation of Inter-American Motor Vehicle Traffic (Washington, D.C., 1943) who visit the United States as tourists can drive legally using their valid domestic driver’s license for a period not to exceed one year from the date of arrival. They may drive either a personal or rental car.
What is the difference between an accident and an inncedent ?
Tourists from countries who are party to the Geneva Convention and the Regulation of Inter-American Motor Vehicle Traffic can also legally drive their own private cars bearing valid license plates/registration tags issued in their native country for a period not to exceed one year from their date of arrival.
Foreign tourists whose country is not among those that are party to the terms of either convention may be required to obtain a driver’s license and secure license plates/registration tags upon arrival in the United States (U.S.).
And yes, India is party to terms of the convention.
If you report to your insurance?
