Daihatsui Hijet. What tax band is it?

Question:
We have a Daihatsui HiJet MPV. It has always been an MPV and was manufactured as one but now DVLA are convinced it was converted at some point and want to charge us as business vehicle tax (highest band) which we are not.

What happens if you can't pay for your car after it's been repo'd?

I have seen people selling these saying Low Tax, so does anyone have one, and if so, what tax do you pay?

Answers:

Who is responsible/liable?

Contact the previous owner or dealer for confirmation and then write to the DVLA stating your case and supplying COPIES of your evidence to support your statement and take it from there
