Question:
My mum told me I have 6 weeks or my car is off the road forever. Is this true? or do you just re-register? how much does that cost and how long do you get before you have to do that? Is there any more to it? I want to know as much as I can. I have NOT been driving it since its not been registered. I am in QLD. Please don't answer unless you are in QLD or know the QLD laws, thankyou! :)

Does one need a license to sell car insurance, If I do how do I acquire a license.?
Technically if you haven't paid by the due date your car is unregistered. Usually they will take payments up to a month late just in case you didn't get the renewal paperwork. If you want to re-register after this you will have to organise insurance, go to the motor registration branch and have a roadworthy done to get re-registered - not a good idea, you do NOT want to do this, you have to get everything perfect before they will pass it, especially your sand-blasted windscreen. Lots of paperwork, lots of hassle, extra expense for the safety certificate & approved inspection. Better to just renew.nooo - you'll just get a ticket
moms trying to get u off ur butt... a ticket costs and you insurance may go up . a car needs to run 30 min. every week or will turn to junk sitting there...get the registation fixed.
