Any insurance companies out there who insure cars and motorcycles on the same policy?
try progressive "drive" insurance. it lowered our from $1,100 every 6 months through state farm down to $509. full coverageDriving in Ontario with a G2 liscence, do you need insurance?
If you have a flawless driving record and are over 25.Try 21st Century ins.You may get it around 5oo.
I've shopped and shopped insurance and found AIG to be the cheapest. I even re-shopped after 1 yr. with AIG and they were still the cheapest. If you're under 25yrs. old I think you got a pretty good deal.
If i have a NJ license and am getting a mississippi license do I have to turn in my new jersey one?
Get quotes from everybody and pick the cheapest one. It normally doesn't cost anything for a quote. I recommend calling them rather than doing it on the Internet. If you speak w/ someone they can usually make things cheaper by asking questions and giving deductions. I got mine cheaper just form being "common law" married. Try these...*Progressive (Drive)
*State Farm
*Allstate
*Geico
Buying a car from a buddy, what do I have to do with the title to get it in my name?
You didn't say your age. If you are under 24 the rate sounds good to me for a new vehicle and full coverage. If you are over 24 I'd suggest finding an independent agent and having his search his data base. But remember, cheap often means very poor service at the time of need.$850 for 6 months? Damn that's cheao for a new car and a first time driver. Try State Farm...they were always the cheapest around here(NH).
Where can i get all the types of car insurances.?
You have to check everyone. In the state of ohio, do i have to have my drivers ed certificate before i can schedule my test?
You can generalize as to which insurance companies are cheaper, or the cheapest, but it doesn't hold true for every single person.
The things insurance companies take into account are
1. Where do you live (is it a safe neighborhood?)
2. How old are you
3. How's your credit
4. How's your driving history
5. What kind of car is it? (color/engine size/body style)
6. How often is that particular model in a serious accident?
7. Do you have other tradelines with thier company (i.e. how many cars will you insure with them?)
8. Are you married or single?
9. Are you entitled to any group/member discounts due to any club affiliation that they give special priviledges to?
10. Have you taken defensive driving in the last few years?
11. Do you have a car alarm
12. What's your gender?
13. What will be the primary use of the car (commute?/pleasure?/weekend use only?/out of town?)
14. Are you the primary driver?
15. Does the car have any extra safety features?
16. ....AND many other things....
CA DMV wants an SR22, how do I get it it if I don't own a car?
They roll all that together and do a small risk assessment and figure out what to quote you...
Driving without insurance/registration, got caught, now what?
But like I said, its different for everyone,
So try them all.
Ask for all the discounts that apply to you.
Most people don't get the discounts cuz they never ask so they never know they exist.
In an auto accident, can the driver at fault successfully sue you?
Try Esurance (not einsurance but just Esurance). I switched to them and save 600 a year vs 21st with better coverage! I was so shocked.Accident with a suspended license?
I do have to say that 850 every six months for a first time driver is not a bad rate imo.
