No. Only originals are accepted to be able to tax the vehicle.it will have to be the original document or a fax of it, printing it off would be easy to fake any details on it using photoshop before printing.

I don't think you can, the DVLA or Post Office only accepts original documents when taxing your car so you'll have to take your certificate of insurance to the garage - a bit of a hag isn't it?
