Accident with a suspended license?

Question:
So a while back in 2005 I got into a car accident and it wasn't my fault and the damage was over $750 dollars. And if you get into a car accident that has damages or $750 you have to report it to the DMV in the state of California. I didn't know that you had to report it even if it wasn't your fault. So I didn't report it and my license was suspended because the DMV thought I had no insurance but I did have insurance and thats how I got the insurance money, I just didn't report it. But I found out recently that the rule under my suspension was that I could drive to work and probably school because I was in high school at the time. So its been suspended for over a year and I recently got into another accident but I was picking my brother up from school where it happened. Will I get in trouble though, I did have insurance at the time of the accident in front of the school. I just want to know what will happen since it was suspended but it allowed me to go to work or school.

Explanation of getting a car insurance. PLEASE HELP?

Call your local DMV and ask. Worst case: you get a court date and have to explain it to a judge-be sure and bring proof of insurance coverage, for the dates of both accidents.
