There will be a record of it being received by the DVLA and you are covered. Did you tax it online in which case did you pront off a receipt? Their database is linked to the DVLA so if you've done it online it will be recorded and you'll be fine, its technically an offence to not display but with the screwy post around christmas i doubt they'd do you for it if they know you've actually bought it. if you didnt do it on line have you checked the cheque has been cashed if not it was maybe never received in which case it will not have been processed and nobody will have any record of a disc being issued contact the duty post office or whoever you sent it tooliscence minimum age limit for non gear and geared two wheelers?
