Question:
basically my parents have pa insurance, and i am under their name with my new jersey license. i got a ticket for going 75 in a 55, and i want to avoid my insurance going up. If i just pay the $160 fine, will my insurance go up? i am just confused because i have a new jersey license, and this happened in Pennsylvania. I even asked the cop and he said if i paid it wouldn't go up. ( I told him i wanted to take care of this myself without insurance and parents knowing because they are having financial troubles).
Any input would help.. thanks.

Car insurance for 16 year old boy missouri?
Yes,it's going up,20 miles over the speedlimit that's reckless driving with a driver's safety course where I come from.the only way it would go up is if you switch over insurance companies causing them to do background checks.
Is there anything you can doa bout paying for the tags on your?
I recently got a ticket in Nevada and live in Utah, and it didn't show up on my last driving record. But that could just be luck. Usually anything written for under 9 over doesn't effect insurance (actual speed versus what he wrote you for). But, if it is your first offense, usually you have the choice of taking some type of free driving course to get the points off of your record. I have done this. No matter what though, you will need to pay the ticket. Best source to call is your local DMV (Division of Motor Vehicles) and ask them this question. Insurance is a funny business. Can you apply to have points on your driving license removed early?
The insurance will likely go up no matter what state you get your ticket. Some jurisdictions may be nice enough to remove the incident from your record if you pay the fine. What all is involved in claiming Total Loss to a vehicle?
Every ticket you receive and every incident goes into a driver database that insurance companies have access to.
What age are you allowed to start driving in florida?
A few years ago, Pa and NJ started sharing info. Too many NJ drivers were getting ticketed in PA and ignoring it, because they live in NJ.How old do you have to be to drive in California in 2007 and 2008?
See if there is a drivers education coarse you can attend. The courthouse should be able to tell you. If you can do it, it would probably cost more than the fine. But in the long run, it would be cheaper on you & your parents. If you just pay the fine, your insurance will go up. 75 in a 55 is way over the limit.
