Lost drivers licenses?

Question:
If you've lost your drivers licenses in a different state (got in Hawai'i, and lost in Alabama), and you haven't changed your living residence, is it possible that the DMV in Alabama will renew your licenses?

Can you also take a class for a Permit at the DMV insted of the Drivers ed school?I live in Mount Prospect IL?


by the way I don't have my birth certificate, but I do have my SSC, and PassPort...

your drivers license is a state issued federal document. you can request a license. but if AL took your license then your record starts there and there's noway AL will give you a new one.

if you Mean you MISPLACED your license then you have to go thru Hawaii to get a duplicate if that's your place of issuance. DMV AL should assist with the proper paper work.
