How do you get your drivers permit in Tennessee?

We just moved to Tennessee so we don't know anything on getting your permit here. We know that in Texas you can be parent taught and not do drivers ed. Does TN have that and what are the requirements to get your permit in TN.. I jsut ned to know all about getting your permit in TN.

You have to go to the dmv near you and take the knowledge test your allowed to miss 6 ?'s here to get your permit you must have a parent to sign for you, a bill with your address on it
