I have scratched a rented car and do I have to pay the damage even I had the full insurance on my contract?

Unfortunately, I scratched the car at the right side above rear wheel against a post. I didn't expect the car to get hit at this area.

I am not sure what you mean by the insurance. If you mean the extra insurance that the rental company charges you, you owe nothing. I had a rental in a parking garage. The circular out ramp was more than I expected. I did about $2000 damage, walked away owing nothing. In fact I turned the car in to get one that wasn't damaged, no problem.
