Can I get my registration money back, if I decide to donate my car?

Question:
My 93 MPV was smock checked and paid registration for next year, which starts 12/21. But a few days after I did that, the car broke down, I decide that it's not worth to spend money on fixing it
anymore, and I'm going to donate it. Can I get the registration fee
back from DMV? I know I probably should ask DMV, but you all know how hard it is to communicate with DMV, unless you physically go there and wait in line for hours:-)

my insurance is repairing my car but was other uninsured parties fault?

Thanks for answer my question

Answers:

do auto insurance companies require police report before processing a auto excident claim??

nope because you will got that money back on your tax.

The drivier's book (to take test) in Quebec, Canada is out of stock in bookstores. Does anyone have one?

Probably depends on where you live. In Indiana no, In fact if you break down (or restore) and don't register the car for say, 5 years, you still have to pay 2 years back registration fees.
