Question:
I'm 23 years old, and currently paying $100 per month on my car insurance. But earlier today I crash into the guard rail by mistake. I have a clean driving (no ticket ever) record with only 4 other accident prior to it.
How can I get a title to my car?
I guess my car would take maybe $1000 to fix but I'm not sure how much my insurance rate will increase.
I just got in an accident with an uninsured car I was about to sell...?
I'm thinking that if I were to pay for the entire damage instead of paying a $500 deduction would not increase my rate.
Answers:
In the process of getting a car, what comes first registration or insurance?
on one hand, you could just fix it on your own because it sounds like cosmetic damage. on the other hand, filing a claim with a 500 deductible will save you half the cost. just look at it like this: even if they double your rate (i don't think they will), with a six month policy, you'll be at 1200 versus the 1000 dollars it would cost for you to fix it on your own. i say, file the claim and save yourself 500 dollars. at 100 a month, you can take an increase. but if you really can't afford an increase, then fix it yourself. Not sure where you live but some states have no fault insurance. If you have had 4 and this is five and you filed those other ones, you may be looking at a hike. I would fix it myself, or use my own money if your going to have a shop do it. You don't need any more reasons for the insurance company looking at your policy, which may lead to a cancellation. You have seen the ads for Geico. The lizard insurance is high priced. I checked into it just for the heck of it. It is double what I pay now for the same car. Good luck.
How much does it cost to get into driver's ed?
I would just fix it as long as you have not reported the accidentMore Questions & Answers ...
