I am not sure what you are asking... are you asking if it is a highway or local road test etc? It just depends on where you take it in NC... is it hard. depends on your definition of hard... read the book, practice driving with a responsible driver.I thought it was easier than it looked...My written test was a paper test in my area, while my frenz had a computer test... so everything thing is based on where you live.if you are far away from a highway i doubt they will out you on one, but they will make you do the basic things I assume. call your local dmv is your not sure what they will ask, they will tell you!
