It will be an arm and a leg, depending on age and drving record and location. I heard of a 19-yr old girl in Queens, NY, who was broadsided at an intersection and for her to get new insurance would have been $7500 a year. You'll be lucky around $1800 maybe.

This is probably going to be a lot, and the fact that this is a Mustang is also going to hurt. You might want to consider a getting a more subdued vehicle to save on rates and discourage racing. My first car was a Fiat Strada and it didn't look like much; but it kept me out of trouble. Nice that you think about the Mustang though.More Questions & Answers ...
