Question:
Other than the year, we have an idea of the license plate number but not sure. I mean is there some kind of website I can go to to find out vehicle info, have no VIN nothing.
See what happened is that our car was stolen 3 days ago and we still haven't reported it because we don't know the license plate and it was registered to someone else also registered in OREGON state. All the paperwork for some dumb reason were in the car. Old classic car.

My friend got a dwi in my car, is my insurance going to go up?
Hope it's not used in the commission of a felony later today.
Did you have the car serviced at a station or at a dealership, if you did they may have the licenses plate number in their records. How about maybe with your insurance company, did they take the number. Do you have triple A, for towing they may have the plate number written down there. Have them check by looking up your name and address to see if they have. Tickets/accidents where the police would have the number in their records.
Does He have to return the vehicle?
I'm all out of suggestions at the moment, I hope one of these help you. I would still report the car stolen to your insurance and the police, at least you will be protected should any thing bad happen and you will not be blamed for the problem caused by the thief. Do report it as it is the wise thing to do, do it right away to protect your self. Should they hit and kill some one you could be held liable. You don't need that on top of what has already happened.

You need to call the police and see what information they need to file a police report. It is possible you could be liable if the car is in an accident or used to commit a crime because you failed to report the car stolen.

Call your insurance company. They will have all of that information and you need to report that car stolen ASAP. The insurance company is gonna wonder why you did not report it as soon as it happened.More Questions & Answers ...
