Motor vehicle question?

i am getting ready to sell my car, but as i was going through the title the other day i noticed that the title says that the car is white, yet my car is blue. vin number and all the other info match up just fine. i was just wondering what the procedure is to change that. im a nj resident, however if anyone in any other stat has run into this problem please post. thanx in advance

As I see it, providing it doesn't matter because some people have thier cars paiinted, but if it does matter, you can have the car painted white or have the title changed. You may want to ask the DMV or an officer about it.
I have a friend that's our town cop, but he's very busy, sorry I can't phne him and ask.

Peolpe do paint their cars. You may not need to change it. The buyer may just be able to tell them when they register the vehicle.

I looked at a truck where the carfax showed a certain color, and the truck was a different color and had not been repainted. Sometimes they just get it wrong as info is entered into computers.
