A few days ago I was in an accident. My friend was the driver and we hit an older woman who had failed to yield to oncoming traffic and made a left turn from the incorrect lane. The officers gave her at least one citation, and found her to be 'at fault'.
I started to feel stomach pains right away and mistook them for hunger. Within the hour I was in the emergency room. I was there the entire day, they found baby's heart beat and kept me on watch.
Now I am told that the baby is probably fine, but my back and neck are in constant pain and my stomach is as well. I can't take any pain killers as I am pregnant, and the doctors want me to be able to feel any changes in the stomach pain, should they occur. I can't work at all. I have bills due... now what?
As far as long term, since I am FIVE MONTHS PREGNANT, my back will not be able to be fixed anytime soon. MY weight will be fluctuating quite a bit so no one can really do anything until after delivery. My pelvis is also hurt which.
