The only way the tow company couldn't bring the vehicle anywhere you wanted it would be if the police had placed a hold on it, which they will sometimes do after an accident if they need to complete an investigation. You can stop the daily storage rate by paying the tow company for the towing and storage to date, and making arrangements to have the vehicle removed from their care and custody and taken to your house. Believe me, tow companies don't want vehicles left with them one minute longer than needed.
