Every state has a letter code for vehicla registration, e.g WB for West Bengal. After state code, the registration number has a district code and then the serial number. For example WB-02-V555 means that the vehicle is registered in Kolkata, West Bengal; WB for West Bengal, 02 for Kolkata. I need complete district-wise list for all states in Eastern India, viz. Bihar, Jharkand, Orissa, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, Mizoram and Manipur.
