Answers:
.can you drive in England with a Russian driving licence.?
Are you done with your physical therapy and the shrink?Dont accept any offers until you have all the bills from the accident tallied. Co-payments, deductibles, prescriptions, time loss at work, etc.
All of this is taken into consideration as far as what a fair payment would be.
The insurance co is going to try to pay the very least amount they can. Keep everything documented. It might take awhile but that seems very low to me. I don't know what kind of work you do but 4000 would not cover my time off work for 8 mos. You are entitled to compensation for time loss at your job and most definitely doc bills.
Another alternative is to contact the ins co of the car you were driving in the driving lesson. You can have them help you fight. You can also sue them for any compensation you might loose with this other ins co.
One way or another- you need a lawyer. There are many lawyers that will go to bat for you and get paid if you get paid. Good luck babes
How can I find out if a car title was put in my name?
Ask your lawyer for advise on what to expect. They should have experience of this type of claim and will not what is fair. How much truck drivers make monthly when they own the truck and when they are not?
The insurance company dealing with your claim will have their on legal team, so contact them and seek a second professional opinion. It may be that you may be advised to take the matter as a civil case to court!Form used at DMV to change color of car?
was made an offer yesterday after nearly 2 years first offer wasnt very good and ask solicitor for advice was told to refuse.so did was given a slightly better offer and was told to take now if didnt want to wait another 6 months as other party then said well another medical.Didnt mind just fed up of waiting and starting again. But was told that if they refuse to pay anything, then my solicitors would take them to court and demand payment. So seems they have to pay some thing, told this yesterday but best talking to your own people incase someone on here etc has had the opposite situation.
contact your lawer thats what he gets paid for .
really need solicitors advice here.
the offer sounds pathetic to me, the lorry driver was fully at fault and that offer would not cover lost earnings let alone the pain and suffering.
take nothing until you are satisfied with it, do not cut yourself short.
I am guessing that you are in the UK, seeing as you used Lorry(us yanks would say semi, or tractor trailer)
So, I cannot comment accurately on your liability laws.
In the US, the commercial insurance carrier for the truck would be responsible for your medical bills, pain and suffering and lost wages, but only at the time you settle your claim in final with their company.
Your own insurance and that of the driving school could advance your medical costs until you settle with the trucking company.
