How long does it take for CARFAX to report accidents?
Maybe, depends on the situation.Where can i insure 2 cars on 1 policy?
If the doctor determines it is related to the accident AND you have not signed a settlement or release statement with the insurance company. How can I recover full reimbursement from party at fault?
If you opened the claim at the time of the accident, then its okay to treat with physicians. Most people don't feel the injuries until a couple of days after an accident has occurred. However, if you opened up the claim 2 months ago, then they will respectably deny your claim or send you to their physicians to determine if your treatment is even necessary.
All insurance companies send you a PIP form. If they sent it to you and you answered that you were not injured, signed it, and sent it back then you will not be allowed to treat. However, if you did not get that form or sign something to that effect, you might be able to treat. But they will send you to their doctor first to determine the nature of the injuries and to see if their doctor will say your not injured so don't pay.
I got into a rear end collision and i cant stop crying..?
If you have coverage for it- of course. You cant be expected to be psychic and know what injuries you may feel later when you first call in a claim.Insured but lapsed mot. How will it affect claim?
Not all states have PIP coverage. PIP is a coverage found in "no fault" states. Other states have med pay coverage. The policy reads that the insurance company will pay for reasonable and necessary medical treatment which is resultant from an auto accident. As noted in other answers, it is common not to notice any injury immediately after an accident. The next day, many people are very sore and stiff. If you go to the doctor, give them your symptoms and let them know you were in a car accident, they can and will note this in your medical records, and as such you should be covered. However, if you are claiming a broken arm or leg, but had not noticed any injury or pain at the time of the accident, that would be a bit peculiar. Nonetheless, you have a contract with your insurance company that will pay as i described above. It would be up to the insurance company to prove the broken arm did NOT come from the accident if there was no record of you having this injury before hand, and no subsequent record of a new injury unrelated to the accident.
