Question:
I don't have a car but occasionally I need to drive and I use other peoples cars. Is there an insurance you can get for yourself without having a car?
Answers:
Does anyone have ideas on how to abbreviate bootylicious for a 7 letter license plate?
Yes, it is a non-owner policy. When you are filling out a quote form just use a dummy car & then put in the comments section that you are looking for a non-owners car insurance policy. You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price. I am paying less than ½ after I did.I want to register on electrol register?

Are jersey drivers really bad as opposed to NY drivers??
The car is insured, not the individual driver. Their policy should cover you as a driver in their car unless there is a specific clause against it.The answer above is correct. Most polices will cover anyone that has permission to drive the vehicle and has a valid license.
I bought a car week ago and i get insurance from AIG it costs me $850 for 6 months(full coverage)?
If you're in California it's called a "non-owners" policy.Regarding the answers above...some companies will reduce the limits to the states minimum required when someone else is driving. And it protects the owner of the car not you.
What to do after i hit someone's car?
If you do not have regular use of a particular vehicle and use others then you should have a non-owners policy.
In Farm Beuru auto insurance.?
yes there is and most of the major insurance companies offer it.The other answers are correct, insurance always follows the veh first, so your friends insurance would cover your accident.
that being said, i recommend getting the insurance, let me give you an example why.
say your friend Joe, has insurance with xyz company. He has a defined amount of liability for property damage, basically his insurance will only pay out x amount of money for the other persons car. Say $5,000. for this example. You run into my jaguar (wish i could afford that) causing $10,000 in damage. His insurance pays the $5000, the rest falls on you as the driver.

so basically the car owner's insurance always pays out primary, anything over those limits, then the driver's insurance, or the driver is responsible for
