Applied for car title about 2 months ago?

my bf applied for a title for a used car car he just bought. but the title hasnt got here yet. its been over 2 months ago. should is there somewhere i can call to find out why?

I had a very small at-fault accident and told the owner I would pay for any repairs rather than submit to ins.

First off contact the local DMV for your area, you should be able to find there number via the internet. Otherwise check with local PD, or contact the dealership where he purchased the veh, if that is where he bought the veh. Unless he purchased the veh from a private seller then he obviously couldn't do that thru the dealership, but anyways yeah my advice would be to first check with DMV.
