And most times insurance companies wont add all the options or the right model of car. Yeah its pretty much right on with Kelly Blue Book Value. they say with ur options in good condition its worth $2,985.00. So they prolly didnt add an option or two. I would counter back at $3,000, and then they will prolly come back at you with $2,900.00 Thats the best ur prolly gonna get. Just remember that what they offered you is just an offer, you can say no! I made a counter offer on my last car that got totalled, and they said ok to that amount with no questions or counter offers to me. I got an extra $3000 than what they were originally offering but my car was a newer car. I'm just the type that never excepts the first offer, and i will never make the first offer. 2. Ask to do run a CCC or ADP computerized evaluation. These evals normally will show other cars like yours that have actually been recently sold or are for sale now. This will give you real world figures not just book figures.
