No Insurance Verification Ticket?

Question:
Is there anyway to turn someone in anonymously that does not carry insurance verification in on their vehicle?
I don't know if that is something that the police would actually go find someone for. I know that if she gets pulled over or has a wreck, the police will obviously find out but will they do anything if I turn her in?

When your pulled over they ask for proof and if you dont have proof they just issue a ticket. People who skirt around insurance requirements generally purchase a policy, get the card, then stop paying. There really is no way for law enforcement to "verify" that a person has an active insurance policy. You can talk to an officer and the worst that will happen is they will pull this person over, ask for proof, and then give them a small ticket for not carrying proof.

Most of the time the officers will give you to the end of their shift to provide the card. If she gets in a wreck and doesn't have it, its her butt. You are being a jerk. Also, people like you calling the PD's are wasting dispatchers time. The dispatcher will have to make a report and yes your name and number will come up on CALLER ID>>>>> Duh. Even if thte Officers see her driving thtey have to have provible Cause to pull her over. Then they can ask for her insurance card.
