Can someone with a revoked license register and insure a car?
How much could I pay for an insurance policy in UK?
My sister's boyfriend is on the revoked list and he just bought a used truck. They say it's in his name but I don't think you can register and insure a car if you don't have a license. And won't the insurance be sky high if you've previously lost your license?
Oh .. and the temporary plate has my sister's name on it. Doesn't that mean it's being registered in her name? And if it's being registered in her name doesn't it have to be insured in her name?

He can buy the truck (From a private party or slime ball dealer) but he would have a difficult time registering the truck. Also insuring the truck. If he is pulled over the truck is impounded and she would have to pay to have it cleared from the impound. If the tag has her name on it then she owns the truck. She can sell it out from under him if she really wants to. She can also report it stolen if he is driving it. Hey it's register in her name.
