Does anyone else hate the DMV as much as I do?
Sure they'll cover you. This is the definition of an accident. A driver has the sole responsibility for operating their vehicle safely. We all sneeze and simply have to be careful. If something does happen then your insurance pays due to your mistake. The person who questioned the driving off a cliff situation:Auto insurance has what is called medical payments coverage. This pays for medical bills or death benefit to the people inside the car that it covers. So if the driver is hurt or killed, then this amount of coverage is available. THis amount is usually much smaller that your liability limits for when you hurt someone else, but the coverage would be available.
What is a fair settlement amount for a car accident with about $3,000 in medical bills?
You have entirely too much time on your hands. *smile*If you have an accident in the length of time your eyes are closed during a sneeze, you probably would have had it with your eyes open too.
What are the smart ways to bid on a car at a public aution?
If the accident is your fault it will cover the damage you do to others, and your own damage if you have collision coverage, same as for any other accident.
How can I get a UK Drivers Licence while keeping my NZ Licence?
Good question! If a sneeze would cause your accident, then we could assume that you would be following too closely. The accident would automaticly be your fault (rearender), and your insurance company liable for damages, or injuries caused. They would have to pay for it. If you sneezed, and changed lanes, ran over the old lady in the crosswalk, ran the light, drove off in the ditch, drove through a home, or business, or some thing simular, your insurance company would be liable. The only thing I'm not sure of is if you drove off a cliff and were killed in the ensueing crash, would they be liable? My guess is probebly to replace the guardrail, recover demolished car, and your smashed, and burned body, and any damage caused to the forest, riverbottom, or perhaps desert landscaping.
