Question:
I just move from California to Michigan. But right now I still hold my california state driver's license and auto plate. I want to get my insurance in Michigan state. Can I do that? Or do I need to get my license and plate in Michigan first? Thanks a lot.
Answers:
after passing driving test how long after can i drive in europe?
It depends. If you are planning to stay there for longer than 90 days [and are not military] you are required to reregister your vehicle upon becoming a state resident.how can i win the battle against towyard charging outrageous daily rates?
If however, you are military the rules are very different and you will need to make an independent check with your Military Base intake center or Transportation.
What car will be the cheapest as far as insurance goes?
If you are planning on Michigan as your permanent residence, not just there for college perhaps, then you must change your license, registration and insurance anyway. If you are going to maintain a residence in California and keep your registration and license through there, then your insurance will have to stay Californian as well.As a side note, California has some of the strictest annual vehicle inspection laws in the country, especially concerning emissions. As far as I know, from a friend who moved there last year, Michigan has no annual inspection whatsoever.
renew my auto registration on line?
I moved from Illinios to Michigan about 9 years ago. I'm pretty sure I got my licence and registered my car before I got my insurance. I find that they are much easier to do than the insurance. I your used to the DMV in Ca, you should go to the one in Mi. I think I spent about a total of 30 min in there for both car and licence.More Questions & Answers ...
