Can you register a vehicle in your own name without a valid drivers license?

The other part to this question is will a loan company check my driving record before they finance the vehicle? I allready know that you can get insurance w/o a drivers license. Any answers would help.

Yes, you can both register and insure a vehicle without a license. The finance company could care less if you have a license or what your driving record is. Their only interest is that you have acceptable credit and the means to repay the loan.

NO. Where I live, in Canada, you must have a VALID driver's license to register a vehicle. I dont know of anyone who wants to buy insurance, register a vehicle and then have some one park it in a garage forever.
