If it doesnt turn over at all check to see if starter is getting hot from exhaust heat, carefull dont get burnt. You may be missing a heat shield, or have to make one. you can wrap it with a reflective fiberglass heat shield avalible thru Summit, or Jegs.

the first few things that i would check is to make sure that the truck is not overheating, if it is then the reason that it wont start after a period of driving is that it is getting too hot and has to cool down. if that is not the case i would check your fuel system out it could be getting to much gas and it might be flooding out after a while that could also explain why it needs to sit for a while to start
