How do I get old tags off my license plate?
If you have an alternate residence in Nevada, or any other state, you can register and insure a vehicle in Nevada that stays there. I had clients with residences in Arizona and Manitoba. They had a half-dozen vehicles, all bought in Manitoba, and occasionally would drive one down, and a different one back, but they had one vehicle they bought there and left there all the time. All the vehicles were Manitoba registration and insurance except that one. Note they spent more time in Manitoba, so they never had to switch driver licence. And a Canadian does not need an international driver licence to drive in any state, just as an American does not need the international licence to drive in any province.Yeah, just as long as you have a passport...
How can I pay when I don't have money to Avis rented car totally damaged in self-accident?
I am not sure what you mean. If your car is registered in Canada and has Canadian plates, you can drive it anywhere in the States. If you want to purchase and register a car in the States, you have to be a resident of the state in which you license it. I always make sure whenever I cross the border, that I have a rider put on my insurance policy (free) to ensure coverage outside my country of residence.17 year old US drivers license - ok to drive in UK?

As long as you have an international driver license, otherwise, you would be required to get a license in the state where you reside. Your insurance would need to show your Nevada address, as your home residence. What happens when I get hit by a car, but I am not insured?
