How long can one wait to get a driver's license after moving to North Carolina?

Question:
Also, how much time does someone have to have their car inspected without being fined?

Answers:

Any insurance companies out there who insure cars and motorcycles on the same policy?

You have 60 days to get a new driver's license and inspection. If you get pulled over after the 60 day time frame, you can be fined. It isn't to hard getting your car inspected in NC. What part of NC are you moving to? I am from Fort Bragg, NC.(Fayetteville) Good luck. I hope you enjoy the beautiful state!

How much should I expect from a car accident?

No waiting time needed, just go to the DMV there and get it, as far as the fine, I have no idea what it is in NC.

Am I paying too much for auto insurance?

i believe you have 30 days in most states, but don't quote me on that... check the dmv website for NC.
secondly... if you don't want to be fined get you car inspected before the sticker expires. my best advice is do it a month early to avoid any surprise fixes you may need.
