Can a car be registered in two countires? Or once re-registered does it void the first country?

Question:

Answers:

Any person with a driver's license in a new Jersey household must be placed in an insurance policy.?

You can only have one set of plates on the car, and they'd need to match the registration documents you keep in the car with you. I don't know if they keep cross-country records linked by VIN (since you didn't say which 2 countries), but you could probably have it registered in two as long as you kept the plates & paperwork in synch.
