Do i have to pay insurance, if i have rented a car on my license and my friend who was driving crashes it?
There are different rules and regulations for each state. You may want to check with The Division of Motor Vehicles for you state. You should have a DMV Agent in your area. You can also Google the DMV for your state and get some answers. In some states you can register the car with your insurance and reistration, the title can be placed in your friends' name as collateral till you make your final payment and then transfer titleship into your name. You can drive any car provided that it is fully legal and you should be on their insurance policy.Good Luck
