Can I recoup my deductable for a hit and run?

My car was parked in front of a friends house on the street. A van took the corner too fast and slammed my rear end. Extensive damage to my vehicle. The driver then backed up and pulled away. I do have full coverage, at $1,000.00 deductable. What are my chances of recovering the deductable?

I got my license suspended Dec 16th of 2006, but my birthday is on the 9th is my license expired?

Once you find the person, if he has no insurance at all you can make a claim using your uninsured motorist coverage if you have that. Or, you can take him to court to get back your deductible. If you can't find him, looks like you're out a grand.
