High performance engines are 'tuned' to use higher octane fuel. Yes you can damage the engine if you use a lower octane rating than the engine was designed to run on. You can also ruin the catalytic converter. If nothing else you will get lower gas mileage because the engine won't run as efficiently, negating any savings from cheaper gas.So in short, you bought a hyper-expensive penile extension to impress the girls with.
