Right/rear corner of the vehicle, just ahead of the right/rear wheel, secured to the body by a worm type clamp. To replace, simply requires loosening this clamp and prying the two "horseshoe clips". Replacement is just the reverse of removal. Go to your local Ford dealer parts department and ask for part number FG-800A. This part is extremely inexpensive. $9.74US to be exact. Hope this helps.
