Those engines are famous for that. I used to have the 2.8 which is the same engine and both heads cracked on it. If you are certain the heads are good then I guess you could have a cracked block.

Did you flux the heads to see if they have any cracks and also did you resurface the heads to make sure they were true. If not that is prob where your prob lies, if you did you prob have a cracked block. or may be a bad head gasket.
