I replace the fuel regulator and now gas is pushing thru the vacumm line.

If the fuel is coming from the vacuum port on the regulator and not from the hose the regulator is bad. If the fuel is coming from the line then your getting fuel from somewhere else. Either way this is not good and is a problem.
