Primer for fiberglass bumper?

Question:
I bought a fiber glass repair kit for my car bumper, it say to use primer. Can I use multi purpose primer from my local hardware store? Or do I need a special kind for car fiberglass?

use any inexpensive primer you do not need the top quality primer. only thing to remember is if you have a light coloured car use a light primer colour as well.
